Our History

Health IT has always required forward thinking and innovative leadership.  Ideas and innovations architected by our consultants in the past have been incorporated and standardized today in the healthcare industry.  Today, we still believe that information technology is a beneficial contributor to managing cost and increasing the quality of care.  We have defined information exchange standards, created both clinical information systems and clinical data warehouses and nationally promoted the concept of interoperable, healthcare information exchange gateways.  From this experience base, our team has focused on assisting organizations with two barriers to interoperability and accountable care.  The barriers are:

  • Master Data Management: Almost all business pr ocesses in a healthcare organization begin with asking the question, "Who is the patient or the provider?"  The inability to maintain an enterprise view of your customer inhibits information exchange and clear analytics.  Our consultants work closely with the customer to create a governance process and implement technologies to support an enterprise approach to master data management.
  • Enterprise Architecture:  Very few organizations employ a formal, mature approach to enterprise architecture.  Leveraging our large-scale EA experience, we are helping create repositories to collect information from sources across the enterprise to rationlize IT investments supporting the business strategies.  Leveraging our industry wide experience architecting and implementing Health IT solutions a system architects, our work and capabilities expanded to include ownership and accountability for the enterprise as Enterprise Architects,
